Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public's help to locate a wanted man who fled on foot from an OSP trooper Saturday morning in northwest Multnomah County. The suspect is wanted on Parole and Probation violation warrants.

Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public's help to locate a wanted man who fled on foot from an OSP trooper Saturday morning in northwest Multnomah County. The suspect is wanted on Parole and Probation violation warrants.

Oregon State Police: The Oregon State Police is continuing it's investigation of an incident where a male subject fled on foot from a Trooper on a routine traffic stop. A white, male, adult, wearing a dark hat with a red bill, black shirt, and dark jeans fled on foot near the half mile point on Rocky Point RD in Northwest Multnomah County. The subject was determined to be a Shane David Hansen, who is 5 foot 10 inches, 170 lbs, and has a scar on his nose. Hansen is wanted on multiple warrants. If you should see Hansen or know his whereabouts you are urged to call 911 immediately.

Fire Investigators from the Marion County Fire Investigation Team (Mc-FIT) and Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Office have concluded that this fire started in the bedroom of the home, where the victim was found.

Woman Dies in Smoke-Filled Salem Home

WOMAN DIES IN SMOKE-FILLED SALEM HOME

Fire Apparatus from the Marion County Fire District #1, along with deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Office responded to a smoke investigation call at a home in the 3500 block of Silverstone Drive NE in Salem at 5:32pm today.
Fire personnel and Sr. Deputy Jason Hickam located an adult female inside the residence. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name is being withheld, pending notification of family members.
The Medical Examiner, Fire Investigators, and Marion County Detectives are on the scene conducting their investigation. Damage to the house was contained to smoke inside the structure.
No information is currently available as to the cause of the fire or the death of the female found in the house. There were no other occupants in the house at the time of the call.
Further information will be provided as it becomes available, however, identification of the victim will probably not occur until tomorrow.

A 50-year old Woodburn transient was arrested Sunday, hours after deputies suspect he robbed a tavern in Woodburn. The owners of the Monitor Inn, 15255 Woodburn - Monitor Road NE in Woodburn called 911 on Sunday at 2:30pm, reporting the robbery. They said a single bandit came into the business, displayed a handgun, and fled with cash from the tavern and its customers.
