Marion County Detectives are seeking assistance from the public in locating a convicted felon, Amanda Emma Marie Yeaney.

Yeaney was driving a 1999 Mercury Cougar when it was stopped for a traffic violation on Lancaster Drive NE, near Rickey Street in Salem. The car stop was made on May 26th at 4:23pm, by Deputy Ron Cereghino.

It was determined that Yeaney was not a licensed driver so she was cited and released at the scene. An impound tow truck was requested for her vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a .22 caliber handgun and 23.3 grams of methamphetamine.

Yeaney is described as a black female, 27, 5-3, 135, short black hair and brown eyes (photo attached). She has no permanent address, but is known to frequent hotels in Salem and Keizer. Detectives have attempted to locate her but have exhausted all leads.

Yeaney has prior felony convictions, including Conspiracy, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Assault and Theft.

Anyone with information on Yeaney's location is asked to call the Marion County Sheriff's Office Tip Line at 503.588.5112, or the non-emergency Sheriff's Office Dispatch line at 503.588-5032.
