Two juveniles and two adults were arrested following a disturbance in Jefferson Thursday evening.
Marion County Deputies Andrew Derschon and Dale Huitt were called to the parking lot of the Jefferson Feed Store, 216 Church Street at about 6:30pm. The initial reports were that two juveniles were fighting and a crowd was gathering. One juvenile was reported to be armed with a hammer.
The crowd became unruly and began closing in on the deputies so additional assistance was requested. 4 Marion County Deputies and 2 Linn County Deputies responded to quiet the disturbance.

Heather Ann Comstock, 40, of Jefferson was also arrested for Disorderly Conduct II. She was cited & released at the scene. No photo is available.
George Theodore Bragg, 40, of Jefferson was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II. He was booked at the Marion County jail and has since posted bail and been released. A photo of Bragg is attached to this release.
The rest of the crowd calmed down and began to disperse upon the arrival of the back-up deputies. It took deputies approximately 90 minutes to handle this call.
