GARY HAUGEN STATUS HEARING SET FOR THURSDAY THE 21ST

A status hearing for convicted murder, Gary Haugen, is scheduled for Thursday, July 21st, at 9:00am.
Judge Jamese Rhoades will be presiding over the hearing in Judge Joseph Guimond's courtroom (Room #1440 at the Marion County Court, 100 High Street SE, Salem, OR.).
Judge Rhoades has appointed new counsel, Gregory Scholl, of the Metropolitan Public Defender's Office in Washington County. He will be present at the hearing on Thursday. They will likely be discussing evaluations for Mr. Haugen and time frames for future hearings.
Inquiries regarding the Supreme Court's ruling on the motion filed by former Haugen attorneys Simrin and Goody should be directed to the Supreme Court.
The media access order issued by Judge Guimond on May 12, 2011, remains in effect (copy attached):
No cameras or cell phones will be allowed in the courtroom
No recording devices will be allowed in the courtroom
No tweeting or texting will be allowed from the courtroom
No coming and going from the court once session begins
